Type inspired by music

This project is inspired by the live version of Damien Rice’s song ‘Cold Water’.
With this song in mind, I created an envolving, tripartite alphabet.

It is about the moment when we are just about to die or when we think we might die. When we think we might loose life, all of a sudden we appreciate what it was we thought gave us life. By just holding on to that moment, all of a sudden we can become religious. It is a natural kind of reaction within us to get a little bit of perspective in a moment of emergency. This total feeling of being helpless and crying out for help, the tension between the soft beginning and the loud ending of the song inspired me to create this alphabet.
