Unmapping the world
This project explores the introductions of news channels and how countries represent the world in their visual communication. We implemented the idea of universal sound and image into this project. We used onomatopoeic words that imitate sound in one or more words. Out of our collection of news intro’s we searched for similarities in shapes, color and movement. We are merging the borders, which creates a global, never ending stream of visual imagery and sound. This results into unmapping the world and creating a universal language. We created a never ending visual global identity.
